The thermometer features a backlit, max temperature display, and laser targeting up to six-Feet (two meters). It runs on a nicd or 9-Volt alkaline battery for about ten hours with laser and backlight on, or about 40 hours with laser and backlight off. The thermometer has a high accuracy of 1-Percent and repeatability of .5-Percent, all with a light weight 320-gram (11-ounce) handheld device.
